Hello! My name is Selina, I’m 26, and I am a blogger/writer/internet human from Central California.

I entered the world of blogging in 2013 when I started up my first book blog. I wanted a place that was dedicated to talking about books and bookish things. For 4 years, my first book blog (“Musings of a Booknerd”) was my life, but in 2017 I decided I needed to relaunch myself as a book blogger and began “Selina’s Book Nook.”

What started out as solely a destination for my book blog has now turned into a place where, in addition to books, I can talk about a few of my other passions like journalism, music, traveling, and photography.

In May 2018, I finished up my time at California State University, Fresno, where I got my BA in Media, Communications and Journalism with an emphasis in Print Journalism. While at Fresno State I wrote for and was the Arts & Entertainment editor at the school’s student-run newspaper, The Collegian.

I currently work part-time at a music venue, and as a seamstress, and along with talking about books here, I also talk about them on Instagram.
